    • Use Instructions: Never fertilize when soil is completely dry, water the day before. Depending on the growing condition, temperature, light, and cultivation practices most Bonsai are fertilized every two weeks during the growing season. For maple and horn bean fertilize when buds first appear in the spring until growth stops about mid-June, then apply fertilizer monthly until the end of the growing season. Junipers are not heavy feeders, apply fertilizer once a month during the growing season to keep the good color on foliage. Excess fertilizer will produce loose spindly growth. Do not apply fertilizer to a plant that has been re-potted for at least 30 to 60 days. DOSAGE: Dilute 1 to 2 teaspoon (5 to 10 mL) per gallon of water. Apply as a single watering. With experience, depending on the plant's response dosages may be adjusted upward or downward.
